Request for Voluntary Water Conservation for Monday, August 10, 2026
August 10, 2026
Notice to all BCWA5 Customers,
Today, August 10, 2026, our operator will be conducting leak detection activities throughout the water distribution system. To assist with this effort, we are asking all customers to voluntarily conserve water whenever possible.
If you are able, please postpone non-essential water use such as:
- Watering lawns or landscaping
- Filling swimming pools
- Washing vehicles
- Other high-volume outdoor water activities
Reducing water usage helps improve the effectiveness of the leak detection process and allows us to more accurately evaluate system conditions.
As part of the leak detection process, there may be brief periods during the day when water service is temporarily shut off in certain areas. These short interruptions will help our crews isolate portions of the system and identify potential sources of water loss more efficiently.
Additionally, if you notice any unusual pooling, standing, or flowing water in ditches, yards, roadways, or other areas, please contact our office so we can investigate.
We appreciate your cooperation and assistance as we work to ensure the continued reliability of the water system.
Thank you for your support.
