**URGENT WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE**
August 14, 2026
BCWA 5 Customers,
Madison County has requested that all customers on the BCWA 5 water distribution system conserve water for the next week.
The water tank that supplies our system is currently having difficulty keeping up with demand. To help maintain adequate water levels and ensure continued water service for everyone, please limit water usage whenever possible.
We ask that you please:
● Avoid unnecessary water use.
● Postpone washing vehicles and other non-essential outdoor water use.
● Limit lawn and garden watering.
● Take shorter showers and avoid letting water run unnecessarily.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated during this temporary situation. We will provide an update if conditions change or additional conservation measures are needed.
